Delmar Wayne ”Andy” Anderson was born on September 1, 1942 in Hayward, California and passed from this life on September 12, 2022 in Midlothian, Texas surrounded by his family. He was 80 years old. He spent 58 of those years married to the love of his life, Delores “Dee” Anderson. Andy and Dee spent 21 years of their life together serving in the U. S. Army. During his Army career he was stationed at Ft. Chafee, Arkansas, Ft. Belvoir, Virginia, Ft. Carson, Colorado, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Ft. Hood, Texas, Thailand, Hawaii, Germany, Vietnam and Korea. He was the recipient of numerous commendations and service medals.

He was preceded in death by his infant son DeWayne Stanley Anderson, his wife Dee Anderson, his father Delmar Raymond Anderson, his mother Vonda Beatrice Cochran, his brother Leon Anderson, and  his sister Fran Todd.

Andy leaves behind a son, Derick Anderson and wife Madeline of Pittsburg, Texas. daughter Dana Alford and husband Jeff of Midlothian, Texas, son Joseph Anderson and wife Antonietta of Justin, Texas. Pawpaw also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, Justin Harrington and wife Chelsea, Richard Anderson, Josie Harrington, Robert Anderson and wife Brittany, Katherine Anderson, Zachary Alford and wife Kelsi, Aubrey Alford, Jacob Alford and wife Shana, Nicole Anderson, and Melissa Anderson. Also 8 great grandchildren, Jaxson and Waylon Harrington, William and Elijah Anderson, Madison Anderson, Trevor and Skylar McCarty, and Judy Dee Alford.

Uncle Andy also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
