David Allen Jones, 58, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Charlton Methodist Hospital, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

David was born in Amarillo, Texas on November 27, 1962. He graduated from Lancaster High School where he was involved in the rodeo and FFA. He achieved great success as a bareback rider, especially as a member of the Fire Fighter Association.

David proudly served as a paramedic and firefighter for the Glenn heights Fire Department achieving the rank of Captain. He enjoyed a 28 year career with Air Performance Services, Inc. He began at Air Performance as a Service Technician, growing within the company as the company grew. His friends and coworkers will remember his as hardworking and dependable, not just a boss, but a leader and a friend.

David had a love and passion for hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed sharing these activities with his family and friends. He was a vocal cheerleader and supporter of loved one at sporting events and other activities that he knew were important to them.

David is survived by his children Paige, Cody, and Joshua (Madison), grandchildren Beau, and Emersyn Jones, brothers Troy Jones, Joey Osburn (Jeannie), Matthew Jones (Christina), and Steven Osburn (Heidi), sister Kim Brown (Michael), many nieces, nephews, and his life partner Jana Fallen.
