David Foard passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on March 20, 1934, David lived a full and vibrant life defined by love, loyalty, and quiet strength.
He was a devoted husband to Beverly H. Foard, his beloved wife of 72 years, and a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His greatest joy came from time spent with his family, and his love for them was steady, unwavering, and deeply felt.
David spent most of his career as a salesman in both the flooring and building materials industries. He had a natural gift for connecting with people and a work ethic that never wavered. Outside of work, he loved boating, golfing, and collecting stamps. In the 1960s, he even took to the skies in a Piper Cub biplane, one of his favorite adventures.
David was known for his honesty, his faith, and the quiet way he showed up for the people he loved. He was the kind of man who made life feel safe and solid, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his younger brother Donald Foard, and his son John Foard.
Left to carry his memory are his wife, Beverly H. Foard; sons David Foard Jr. and wife Sharon, and Jim Foard and wife Leah; and his daughter-in-law, Diane Foard of Lubbock, Texas.
He is also survived by his grandchildren: Erin Foard and husband David Mire, Michelle Foard and husband Caleb Huff, David Foard and wife Miranda, and Faith Foard; as well as great-grandchildren: David R. Foard Jr., Kathryn Foard, Andrew Foard, and Elena Foard.
His siblings, Robert Foard and Saundra Galloway, also survive him.
David lived with deep love, and he leaves behind a legacy of quiet strength, enduring faith, and a family who will never stop carrying his spirit forward.
