Daryl Leslie Bennett, 59, died Friday, June 30, 2023, at Methodist Dallas Medical Center, Dallas Texas.  Born on April 27, 1964, in Iowa City, Iowa, Daryl was adopted by Robert and Florence Bennett of Flandreau South Dakota.

He attended and graduated from the Flandreau Public School district, and then worked as a cook at the Coleman Corner just outside of Flandreau, SD.  Daryl married Sheila Ann Molengraaf of Brookings, SD on June 27, 1998 where they lived until moving to Waxahachie Texas in 2012. 

Daryl is preceded in death by his father Robert Bennett July 22, 1993 and his mother Florence Bennett March 24, 2009.

Daryl enjoyed helping on the farm, going to church at The Avenue, and attending Texas Rangers Baseball. One of his wishes was to see the Ocean as he and Sheila went on a Cruise May of 2018.

Daryl is survived by his wife Sheila Bennett of Waxahachie, TX; his sister Mary (Dean) Duncan of Rapid City, SD; three nephews Jared, Jesse, and Justin; brother- in-Law David Molengraaf (Kimberly Molengraaf) of Waxahachie, TX; sister-in-Law Becky Hines (Mark Hines) of Waxahachie, TX; his mother-in-law Sandra Molengraaf of Ennis, TX; nieces Shelby Anguiano (Ethan Anguiano), Taylor Villarreal (Jake Villarreal), nephew Matthew Molengraaf of Waxahachie, TX; great-niece Ava Anguiano, and great-nephew Hudson Anguiano.
