Cynthia Louise Solis

December 7, 1953 — September 3, 2025

Waxahachie

Cynthia Louise “Cindy” Solis, 71, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away on September 3, 2025. She was born on December 7, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, to Dorothy Toninelli and Theodore Bjolstad, Jr.

Cindy was raised in California and began her career as a bank teller at Wells Fargo. Through hard work and dedication, she built a 43-year career in banking, ultimately retiring in 2016 as a private client services manager.

In 1981, Cindy married Ernest Solis, with whom she shared 40 wonderful years until his passing in 2021. Cindy was blessed to find love again with James Wilson. They were married earlier this year and cherished the time they had together.

Cindy lived a full and vibrant life. She adored her dogs, enjoyed traveling, and loved quiet moments spent coloring. She especially treasured time at the senior center and cheering on her grandchildren in all of their activities, and going to the movies with her stepfather, Tony.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ernest Solis; her mother, Dorothy Toninelli; her father, Theodore Bjolstad, Jr.; and her grandparents, Corina Takats, Lillian Bjolstad, and Theodore Bjolstad.

Cindy is survived by her husband, James Wilson; her stepfather, Tony Toninelli; her sons Charles Steele (Debrina) and Brian Solis (Kelsey); her grandchildren Charles Steele, Andrew Solis, Hannah Solis, Karon Guerrero (Pedro), and RaeLynn Hinson; and her great-grandchildren Debrina, Violet, Jacob, Travis, Vanessa, Remington, and Luke.

Cindy will be remembered for her kind heart, her devotion to family, and the joy she brought to those who loved her.
