Christine McGlatherey, 91 of Terrell, formerly of Waxahachie, passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 in a Terrell Hospital. She was born to the late George W. and Otha Mae Rumsey Hinds on September 26, 1917 in Maypearl.
Christine loved fishing, playing Dominoes and Bridge and she loved to travel with her husband, which they did as often as possible. Christine enjoyed life, loved people and made many friends. She will be missed by so many who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her brother, Jack Dale Hinds and his wife, Geneva of Bedford; her nephew, Gary Bigham and his wife, Candy of Kaufman; and her niece, Patsy Waits and her husband, Wayne of Kaufman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Yankee McGlatherey; and by her son, Jerry Roberts.
Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Hillcrest Cemetery with Pastor Jimmy Wright officiating.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2009 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.
