Charles "Charlie" Harness Jr.

Charles “Charlie” F. Harness Jr., 59, of Waxahachie, TX, formerly of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away June 23, 2021 as the result of a motorcycle accident.  Charlie was born on March 12, 1962 to Dorothy & Charles Harness Sr. in Joliet, IL.  He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred, father, Charles of Cedar Lake, IN, brother, Michael (Nancy) Leonard, of Greenville, TN, sister, Karen (Donald) Hiltunen of Maricopa, AZ, stepchildren, Ashlee Thrasher. Keller, TX, Deanna. Kennedy (Rick) Holman of Waxahachie, TX, 8 step grandchildren.  Desirea Willis, Derek Willis.  Damien Willis of Alvarado, TX.  Harley Holman of Waxahachie, TX.  Anna Torres, Ryan Mundy of Keller, TX.  We will be having a Celebration of Life (Memorial) at our home for immediate family and close friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy, first wife, Sharon, brothers, Robert and Kenneth Leonard, and stepson Christopher Thibodeaux.  Charlie was employed by ARI Fleet Management as a truck technician at the time of his death.  He was a member of the Brothers an Sisters riding group who do a lot of Charities to help others in their community.  The 23rd of August at 10:30 AM at 221 Modene Ave. Waxahachie, TX 75165.  We will be having our close friend Aaron Wolfe speaking, he married us, and after that anyone who would like to say something about Charlie is welcome too.  So to all the friends that knew him well, we will see y’all on the 23rd.
