Charles Edwin Wilson, age 83
January 25, 1920
December 16, 2003

Mr. Wilson passed away at Charlton Methodist Hospital, Dallas. He was born in Italy to Charles and Mary (Caswell) Wilson. Mr. Wilson graduated from Milford High School. He and Augustine Horn were married November 17, 1938 in Waxahachie. He was employed as District Manager for ParGas of Waxahachie for over forty years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Fidelis Sunday School Class and was a past member of the Waxahachie Optimist Club. After his retirement, he enjoyed woodcraft and being a "Grand Dad".

Mr. Wilson is survived by: one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Betsy Wilson of Taylor; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beth and Terry Hodges of Waxahachie; four grandchildren, Lauri Rodgers and husband John, Leigh Ann Bruckler and husband Tony, Nik Wilson and Jake Wilson; four great grandchildren, Abi and Anna Rodgers and Taylor and Trace Bruckler. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Augustine, in 1996.

The family will receive friends and relatives 6-8 PM Friday at the Wayne Boze Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be 10 AM, Saturday, December 20, 2003 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Bruce Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Burial Park.
