Charles Hogan

Charles (Charlie) Thomas Hogan born June 14, 1934 and passed April 20, 2022.

Our devoted husband, brother, brother-in-law and uncle went home to be with the Lord.  He loved going to church, singing in the choir and singing with the group “Five for Him”.  He gave his time to help the church pantry help others for many years.  He was a member of the South Prong Baptist Church.  He also enjoyed watching the Seniors Bowling Leagues as his wife bowled there. He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for thirty-three years. He attended school in Bruceville Eddy, Texas.

Charles is survived by his wife Brenda (Rutherford) Hogan, they were married for sixty-one years. Also survived by his sister, Ann Ford, Brothers; Franklin Hogan and wife Donna and Melvin Hogan and wife Sharon.  Brother-in-law; John Rutherford and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents Cornelia and Catherine Hogan, a sister Carol Poulson.  He will be dearly missed by all that loved him and knew him.

Services for Charlie are scheduled for 1:00 PM Monday, May 02, 2022 at the Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie, Texas with Rev. Mike Gilcrest officiating.  Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Waxahachie, Texas.  Arrangements are under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
