Chad Monroe
Robertson
December 13, 1974 – May 20, 2026
Chad Monroe Robertson, age 51, passed away at home on May 20, 2026. He was born on December 13, 1974, in Waxahachie, Texas, to Robert Robertson and Brenda Robertson.
Chad, lovingly known by many as “Chad Cinnamon Roll,” “Chewy,” “Chadro,” and “Sasquatch,” was a man who left his mark on everyone he met. If Chad loved you, you KNEW it. He was supportive, encouraging, loving, strong-minded, deeply sarcastic, familyoriented, and kind.
Chad earned his Associate’s Degree in Business and dedicated more than 30 years of his career to Gerdau, where he served as an Improvement Facilitator. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built along the way.
Chad enjoyed cooking “good” food, watching westerns, spending time with his slobbering dog, having a good time, and laughing with his family. His favorite sayings included, “Right on,” “Hell ya,” “What did you buy this time, Payton?” and “Is this gonna be a short or long story?” His humor, quick wit, and larger-than-life personality will be dearly missed.
Chad is survived by his children, Justin, Colton, Payton Lynn; his grandchildren, Everleigh Ann, Parker June, and Hunter Ryan Robertson; his siblings, Brian, Rhonda, Hilary Ann, and Alicia Robertson; and many other loving family members and friends. He also loved his pets, Moose, Prissy, Hope, and Jaxon.
He was preceded in death by Sherry Chestnut, Claude Jr. Robertson, and Alpha and Claude Robertson.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., also at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.
A reception will be held at 2:00 p.m. at BusyBee, 301 Main Street, Maypearl, Texas.
