It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmelita B. Alvarado. She passed away on October 6, 2021, at the age of 66 in Dallas, TX.
Carmelita had a passion for her long time career of being a presser, which she turned into her own business called “Grandma’s Laundry’s Room”. Once that ended due to an unforeseeable accident she began working from home, where she was a ONE OF A KIND PRESSER. She attended Stagecoach Cowboy Church when she could, and she loved each and every one there with her whole heart. She loved giving to Feed the Children, and people that she saw on the side of the road. She would always say “if they are lying that is between them and God”.
Carmelita is preceded in death by her daughter, Norma Alvarado, son, Crox Alvarado Jr., parents, Agapito Borjas and Elia Deleon Borjas, Older brother Agapito Deleon Borjas Jr.
Carmelita leaves to cherish her memories her husband and soulmate of 49 years
Crox Joe Alvarado, daughters Sonia Alvarado and Victoria Alvarado; and grandchildren Danielle and spouse Duncan Martinez; Gregory Arradondo Jr.; Victor A. Arradondo; Jayla Jamae LaCour; Thadus LaCour III; Margarita Rose Alvarado; Mia LaCour
Carmelita was a strong woman, but she came upon a time that she needed medical attention and there were many people along the way that helped her out. There is that one person who went above and beyond her call of what she chose to do as her profession, Jessica Dodd. Please know that we appreciate you more than words could ever express, and you are one of a kind!
