October 15, 1932 — January 2, 2017
Betty Jo Quillen, 84, passed away on January 2, 2017 in Athens, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 2 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located at 1826 W. Highway 287 Business in Waxahachie. Visitation with the family will be observed on Thursday from 12-2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will directly follow services at Hughes Cemetery in Avalon.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Lena Farmer; husband, Jessie Quillen; daughter, Sharion Copeland Quillen; siblings, Ruby, Jewel, Buddy and RC; and great grandchild, Zeth Carrier.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Mitchell and her husband, Stewart; grandchildren, Terry Daniel, Tammy Herron, Sharion Carrier and Jessie Quillen; good friend, Carolyn Duke; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
