Belinda Barron Pruett

Belinda Barron Pruett, a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and aunt, passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 65. She was born on October 7, 1959, in Dallas, TX, to Raymond Barron and Barbara Tamayo. Belinda was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Raymond Barron, and her sister, Lydia Cason.

Belinda shared 43 wonderful years of marriage with her devoted husband, Don—her partner, her love, and her best friend. She cherished her sons above all else and delighted in her grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. For more than 20 years, she was a dedicated co-worker, forming lasting friendships she treasured deeply.

Her passions were many—cooking, camping, and even trips to the casino brought her happiness. Belinda’s infectious laugh and comforting smile could brighten any room. She was known as a guiding and caring presence, not only for her family but also for her sons’ friends, always willing to lend a hand, even in the middle of the night.

Belinda leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and selflessness. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her warmth and spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Donald Pruett of Waxahachie, TX; her sons: Donald Pruett II and wife, Brenna, of Midlothian, TX; Bryan Pruett of Maypearl, TX; and Kevin Pruett and wife, Stephanie, of Midlothian, TX; grandchildren: Maggie, Olivia, Marci, Penelope, Marin, Sophia, Kayne, and Savannah Pruett; and her sister, Christine Salinas, and husband, Felix, of Dallas, TX.

Services will be held on Friday, September 5, 2025, at Wayne Boze Funeral Home, 1826 West Highway 287, Waxahachie, TX 75165.

• Visitation: 10:00–11:30 a.m.

• Rosary Service: Immediately following visitation

• Funeral Service: 12:00–1:00 p.m.
