Adan Arevalo Sias Sr., was called home to be with the Lord February 13, 2022 at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
He was born on June 7th 1941 in Hargill, Texas to Domingo Sias Sr and Estella Arevalo Sias. He learned how farm while helping his father at the young age of 11 years old. This is where he learned “The Love of the Land”. On July 24, 1960, he married the love of his life Elvira Guerrero. On August 1962, they moved to Waxahachie, Texas together with their first 2 children. Where they made their life and added 3 additional children.
He was employed by John Roebuck at Roebuck Farms for 21 years. After Mr. Roebuck retired, he was then employed by Bob Beakley with Beakley Farms for 26 years. Adan loved to work the land so much that he dedicated his life to farming.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Domingo and Estella Sias, a brother Emilio and sister Maria Anita Sias. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Elvira Sias, his 5 children Grizelda Zapata (Jesse), Mary Urrabazo (James Williams), Adam Sias Jr. (Jackie), Andy Sias and Araceli Aguirre (Oscar). Brothers Domingo Sias Jr., (Queta) and Francisco Sias. Sisters Eva Anzaldua, Teresa Juarez (Joel), Maria De La Garza (Rene), and Yolanda Martinez (Joe).
11 grandchildren Jeremy (Virginia), Jacob and Julian (Monique) Zapata, Vincent and Rolando Urrabazo, Jena (Elio) Gonzales, and Lexi Sias, Meagan and Katie Sias, Celina (Ryan) Zambrano and Marissa Gutierrez, and 8 great-grandchildren.
