Jimmy Perry

Jimmy Perry, 67, passed away on September 10, 2017 at his home in Maypearl with his family by his side. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 2:30 PM in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel of Wayne Boze Funeral Home located in Waxahachie. Interment will follow funeral services at Red Oak Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be observed on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Wayne Boze Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born on January 9, 1950 in Dallas, Texas. He graduated Red Oak High School in the class of 1968 and married his wife, Rilla Muirhead, on August 9, 1968. Jimmy was the owner of Perry's Tractor Service and was a member of the Ranchhouse Cowboy Church in Maypearl.

He was preceded in death by his father, William (Bill) Perry; son, James Brandon Perry; and sister, Billie Parten.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rilla Muirhead Perry; son, Brad Perry and wife, Frances; grandchildren, Brittany Perry, Shelby Barnes and husband, Drew, Taylor Perry and fiancé, Rodney Lippel, and Matt Perry; parents, Von and Ann Stanford; brothers, Bobby Perry and wife, Jan, and John Perry and wife, JoAnn; sisters, Becky Cockerham and husband, Douglas, Katie Shaw and husband, Bob, Tracy McBride and husband, Ross, and Shelly Baumann; brothers in-law, Bill Muirhead and Bruce Muirhead; sisters in-law, Marsha Muirhead and Neva Muirhead; and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie is in charge of the arrangements.
